FALL STOCKING RETURNS

2025 FALL STOCKING REPORT : Fall conditions remained undesirable thru October and November wasn’t much better. Sorry friends this seems to be the trend having dry Septembers, Octobers and much of November this past 2025. Stream conditions became desirable after Christmas. Scheduling with our trout supplier leads us to mid January and the board position is to forgo stocking until our spring round of trout stockings. Trout season closes for March and fishing is not then permitted until the opening day of Pennsylvania Trout season.

Trout stocking resumed November 03,2023 at numerous project sections. This stocking returned by popular demand and will remain an annual event, stream conditions permitting. Sometimes those conditions are very low water levels, that is why we don’t set a firm fall stocking date.
